Ready to take your stone setting skills to the next level?

Join us for a full day of hands-on learning under the guidance of professional setter Rowan Keylock. 

Participants will learn the art of star setting faceted gemstones Rowan will guide you through the essential tools and skills needed to confidently set faceted stones.

Students will begin by learning how to fit a graver to their hand and consistently sharpen an onglette graver, an essential tool for precise stone setting. The class will explore various star setting styles and provide practical techniques for troubleshooting common issues. 

Each student will receive a sharpened onglette graver, a brass practice plate, and faceted cubic zirconia to work with. Attendees are asked to bring their preferred form of magnification, such as an Optivisor or similar.

Places are limited to 6, so early booking is recommended.

The course is held at our large , well equipped workshop above Siop iard in the centre of Caernarfon.
