Build on your sewing skills with this inspiring full-day workshop led by award-winning designer Nicola Carr. Designed for those who have mastered the basics, this course will introduce you to the key techniques used in garment construction while creating your own stylish and practical Japanese apron.
Throughout the day you'll gain confidence in reading and working with a pattern, laying out and cutting fabric accurately, assembling your garment, and achieving a professional finish using a range of sewing techniques. Nicola will share expert tips and tricks to help improve the quality of your sewing and develop skills you can apply to future dressmaking projects.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a beautifully finished Japanese apron, along with the knowledge and confidence to tackle more ambitious sewing projects at home.
