Celebrate contemporary design and fine materials in this creative workshop. Working with sterling silver and hand-selected gemstones, you’ll design and make your own pendant using elegant mechanical techniques—no soldering required. 

Guided by jeweller Angela Evans, you’ll explore how to form and shape silver wire using specialist tools, create texture through decorative hammering, and introduce rich colour and contrast through the inclusion of natural gemstone slices.

The focus is on thoughtful craftsmanship and celebrating the inherent beauty of the materials. Leave with a finished piece of contemporary jewellery that's entirely your own - designed, crafted, and ready to wear.

Angela Evans is a designer of elegant and contemporary jewellery inspired by the natural beauty of Eryri. Angela has eight collections, which can be seen and purchased on her website. Angela creates bespoke wedding, engagement and special occasion rings in silver, gold, platinum and precious stones. Angela also specialises in re-designing precious and heirloom pieces into new modern jewellery. 

With over 20 years of jewellery-making experience, Angela is one of the Siop iard's founding partners. 

Angela brings years of teaching experience to her work - from college lecturing to community projects with local schools and groups. She's trained extensively in advanced techniques like stone setting and gold alloying and has a postgraduate qualification in education. Expect a friendly and approachable teacher with plenty of experience to share and stories to inspire!
