Learn hot forging techniques – forging with the fire, hammer and anvil at the coal hearth to create a beautiful, functional Snail bottle opener. Easy light forging which is suitable for complete beginners. We will have a go at 5 techniques - drawing down, scrolling, flattening, bending back and texture.
Before you attend the workshop at Glynllifon:
1. Please wear suitable, comfortable shoes, as you will be standing a lot; 2. Wear old clothes, as you will get messy; 3. Layer up as it gets cold in the forge.
