Learn basket making techniques to create an asymmetric willow basket, with a driftwood handle.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore weaving patterns, shaping methods, and natural finishing touches, leaving with a unique, sculptural basket to take home.

Since discovering willow weaving in 2017, Eirian has developed her practice full-time, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design. Using renewable willow, Welsh woollen tweeds and natural materials, she creates colourful, functional pieces for everyday use and interiors. Her work explores form, texture and repetition—where craft and art meet.

Eirian has exhibited and run workshops with Yr Ysgwrn, Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Galeri, and at an artist residency in Cornwall.

This course will take place at Llety Arall, next door to Siop Iard.
