Learn how to press flowers in a traditional handmade wooden flower press, practising the best techniques to capture and preserve the beauty of fresh flora of different shapes, sizes and depths.
In addition, you will be able to create your own herbarium (floating flower frame) with a lovely selection of pre-prepared dried and pressed flowers.
All the materials will be provided to try out pressing various types of flowers and to make your own herbarium to take home.
There is an optional extra of £30 (payable to the tutor on the day) to take home a handmade wooden press filled with flowers, so you can continue your flower pressing journey.
The course will be held in the Siop iard workshop (upstairs, no lift access).
